Wearing a Halloween costume gives you ample opportunity to bring out a different side. It could be a dark one or a sweet one. Maybe you’d just amplify the personality you already have or take on an entirely foreign persona. That contrast is exemplified none better than in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The novella has influenced both literature and our everyday terminology.  You may be more acquainted with film adaptations’ focus on drama and grotesque transformations with the inner turmoil (and the period appropriate form of shock) being overshadowed. Still, it’s an interesting study of human personality and personifies good vs evil is one of the most startling ways. [27/31].
