Halloween through and through, that’s what this book is. From the cover to the last page of the last segment. Each story is a piece of candy in a pail; a different texture, a different taste, or a completely different type but still an important contribution to the medley that is the holiday. And it’s that range in flavor that makes the anthology really pop and appeases so many tastes. Corpus Press KILLED it with this one. This will always be a collection I come back to, for Doorbells at Dusk gives you monsters, murder, and the type of madness only October can harbor. [Here’s the link to my full review!] (10/31).
