Scary Stories To Tell In the Dark (1981) #31DaysofSpookyBooks

Having a bonfire? Whip this bad boy out. These little tales of fright are so beloved, they hardly need an introduction. The same goes for those god damn illustrations (swoon). It may not scare you like it used to but it might just remind of a time when it did. Read it aloud over some flames or in a graveyard late, late at night and then see how skittish you can really be. Seriously, read these with friends. Keep the oral tradition of storytelling alive with all the spookies and urban legends.  (5/31).
