Halloween Fiend (2019) #31DaysofSpookyBooks

I read this novella over a course of 2 plane rides earlier this year and its stuck with me ever since. It’s such a unique take on the holiday and incredibly voiced. It brings out that darkness we’ve seemingly lost in the shelves of glittery and pastel decorations. The protagonist is reluctant and real. It’s the perfect story for Halloween lovers or book clubs hosting a holiday read. Huge fan of Grindhouse Press and @scarycarrie1 already. (4/31)
